2024 - PCM Minutes

Minutes are a summary record of decision making and are not a detailed record of who said what. Similarly, unless a councillor specifically requests their vote on an issue to be recorded, the minutes will generally just record what the decision on a particular issue was.  A decision is known as a resolution.  i.e. the council 'resolved' is the formal and legal term for, the council 'decided'

Draft minutes are published as soon as possible following conclusion of a parish council meeting.

Draft minutes are formally considered and agreed at the next council meeting. However, actions and resolutions by the council do not have to wait until the formal approval of minutes takes place.
